- Participation in the free gas contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of the Rules, which are final on all matters relating to the free gas contest.
- Start and End: The free gas contest begins on December 1st, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (EST) December 31, 2010.
- How to Enter: No purchase is necessary to enter the free gas contest.
Individuals can only be entered by referring someone to ContractorQuotes.ca. There is no limit to how many people the individual can refer. For every 5 referrals, the referrer’s name is entered in the prize draw for $150 in free gas.
For purposes of these Rules, “receipt” of a referral occurs when ContractorQuotes.ca recieves the referral from the form submission. ContractorQuotes.ca does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information; technical malfunctions; human or technical error; lost, delayed or garbled data; or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof.
This contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws Eligibility: The Promotion is open to legal residents of Canada, who are of the age of majority. This Promotion is NOT available in the Province of Quebec or to residents of Quebec. The Promotion is NOT open to employees, representatives or agents of ContractorQuotes.ca, its subsidiaries, affiliates, associates, advertising and Promotion agents, and members of their respective families and persons with whom they are domiciled. - Prize: One Prize (1) will be awarded to the selected winning referrer consisting of a $150 gasoline gift card (“Prize”). The Prize must be accepted as awarded, and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
- Selection of Winner: The winner (one winner) will be selected by random draw on or before January 1, 2011. Odds of winning are subject to change based on the final number of entries submitted. The winner must then correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, and sign the Declaration, Release and Discharge form attached, to receive their prize.
- Privacy: ContractorQuotes.ca respects your right to privacy. Unless otherwise indicated, any information provided will only be used to provide the user with information about ContractorQuotes.ca services, assess the entries and execute the contest. By providing personally identifiable information, you consent to the collection of this information by ContractorQuotes.ca for the purpose of providing this information and for administering this contest.
- General Rules: Participants agree to i) sign the Declaration, Release and Discharge form releasing ContractorQuotes.ca from any liability arising out of or in any way connected with the Contest, the award of the Prize, and the use of personal information as permitted. All entries become the sole property of ContractorQuotes.ca The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. All incidental costs and expenses not specifically referred to herein, including (without limitation) taxes, are the sole responsibility of winner. ContractorQuotes.ca reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value and/or to terminate, modify or withdraw the Contest, in whole or in part at any time, without prior notice for any reason including errors or other causes beyond ContractorQuotes.ca control which affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest. ContractorQuotes.ca reserves the right to disqualify any person who it believes has failed to abide by the Contest Rules and conditions. ContractorQuotes.ca is not responsible for theft, defects, human errors including negligence, that may result in the failure of ContractorQuotes.ca to award the Prize.

d) If and when I am deemed an official winner, I hereby grant a full and final release and discharge to ContractorQuotes.ca, and to their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, advertising and other agents, from any and all claims whatsoever which I, my heirs, estate trustee or other personal legal representatives or assigns, have or may have arising out of or in any way related to the Promotion and/or the Prize.
e) It is expressly understood and agreed by me that ContractorQuotes.ca cannot accept any responsibility, in whole or in part, for loss, damage or injury to person(s) or to property, however caused, in connection with the Prize that I may receive or the Promotion. It is further understood that ContractorQuotes.ca and its officers, directors, employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to the above-mentioned Prize.
If and when I am deemed an official winner, I hereby grant toContractorQuotes.ca, and to its authorized agents, the right to use my name, address and photograph, without remuneration, at any time, in any geographical location, and from time to time, in connection with the Promotion for the purpose of advertising, publicity and for promotion in any manner of media.
g) I hereby declare that I have carefully read and understood the foregoing, and that I have given this release and discharge of my own free will.
